Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The employee in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external guests. The Security Manager is responsible for the operation of the Security department and ensures the physical security and safety aspects of the facilities. The Security Manager will implement programs to safeguard the welfare and assets of all guests and team members for areas of operation. The Security Manager is also responsible for management of general liability, property, and worker's compensation claims, as well as insurance programs.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides superior guest service, positively affects interactions with guests and team members, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions and the ability to work effectively and courteously with fellow team members. Responsible for the supervision and performance of the Security Shift Manager and Supervisors. Responsible for the destruction of the cards and dice, for keys and key watcher, and maintaining a Key Audit score above 5.0. Develops and manages the budget for the security department. Manages the overall performance of the Security department. Provide protection and safety to guests and team members. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality relative to security operations, financial data, casino policies, on going investigations and promotions. Development of staff, interviews, hires and evaluates. Establishing and maintaining working relationships with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies to include community involvement. Develop and implement processes to control lost time injuries, return to work program, and light duty program. Maintain all records for company insurance, bonds, leases, policies, and agreements. Process accident and injury reports in a timely manner. Responsible for all liability and property claims. Oversee the administration of worker compensation claims. Coordinate payment schedule with third party administrator. Review risk activities and claims with General Manager and Director of Finance. Follow-up with patrons and team members with the objective of resolving claims and other potential users. Develop and manage safety program for the property in order to ensure safety and security of team members and customers. Completes all company-required training within designated time frames. Creating a clean, safe, friendly and fun atmosphere for all guests and team members.WORKING CONDITIONS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Knowledge of federal, state, local government, and gaming laws, Innkeeper Laws, ABC control regulation, OSHA and health department regulations. Maintaining interpersonal working relationships among all team members. Public relations and customer service skills. Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of security. Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures. Broad variety of task and deadlines required, and irregular work schedule. Ability to perform assigned duties in an interruptive environment. Ability to use all equipment associated with the position, including, but not limited to, computer, 2-way radios, alarm system and telephone. Ability to work in a brightly lit, smoked filled casino environment with noise levels. Ability to be at work on time as scheduled on a regular basis which may include nights, weekends, and holidays Always maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude. Report to work in neat and clean professional attire. Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential. Be a customer experience owner, act in ways that will surprise and delight our guests. Leave guests with positive feelings about our property and establish/maintain relationships with them. Approach each situation with a "yes we can" attitude, every guest every time. Comply with our drug & alcohol free workplace. Subject to post offer, for cause and post-accident drug tests.JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Three to five years in security, investigations, surveillance, and patron/property liability of high volume business or industry with a 4-year degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred. Be able to obtain a valid Level I Missouri Gaming License. Possess or be able to obtain a Valid Class E Missouri driver's license. Demonstrate knowledge of policies and procedures of the internal controls for the property within 90 days of hire date. Maintaining interpersonal working relationships among all team members.
