Security Officer

About us Sparks Security is searching for a security officer for a site in Lyme, CT. Full - Part Time position available for an individual that enjoys the outdoors and people. Applicants must possess a CT Guard Card, superior customer service skills, and reliable transportation as a prerequisite for employment. Serving our partners is our top priority. We strive to provide clients with industry safeguards and best practices in order to operate their business in the proper manner. Sparks Security will be providing on-site security and compliance services.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform security patrols of external and internal areas of locations. Monitor surveillance and security systems. Provide assistance to business owners in emergency situations. Keep detailed logs and records of incidents at assigned locations. Other duties assigned by

Sparks Security Required Skills:

Military or law enforcement background preferred. Must have a valid CT Guard Card. Must have 12 months experience as a security officer. Able to pass pre-employment background check (including fingerprint clearance) and drug test. Able to legally operate a motor vehicle. Able to stand and or sit for extended periods of time. Able to work in all weather conditions and extreme temperatures.
