Full-time Position Summary:

The Smoke Rise Club, Inc. ("Club") Security Department mission is to provide a safe, secure, respectful and welcoming environment for all residents and visitors of the Smoke Rise Community. The Security Officer is responsible for a combination of duties including the Club's Gate entry points for access control, surveillance monitoring control, regular patrols, incident response, daily reports, and enforcing the Club's policies and standard operating procedures. This position requires strong communication, observation, interpersonal, and teamwork skills. The Security Officer will work under the Club's Security Director and with shift Sergeants to uphold Security standards. The Club's Security Department works together with local support from the Police Department, Fire Department, and medical response units.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience in security or a related field preferred. Ability to work shift hours, including weekends, and holidays. Strong communication, observation, and teamwork skills. Demonstrate professionalism when working with others. Basic computer skills for operational controls and reports. Valid SORA certification required. Valid driver's license required. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

This position will require: Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, monitoring, or patrolling. Exposure to outside work weather conditions (cold and heated). Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and maintain alertness. Ability to move security objects around up to 20 pounds at times.

Shift:

4:00 pm. to 12:00 am. | 5 days per week | Security Director assigns schedule Ability to work shift hours, including weekends, and holidays. The Smoke Rise Club, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
