PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting activity and notifying appropriate personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, controlled access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials, control access to restricted areas, and support established movement procedures for people, property, and/or vehicles. Support facility operations by observing inmate and visitor activity, reporting unusual behavior or conditions, and assisting with security-related protocols during counts, escorts, transports, and/or emergency situations as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. An armed guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
