AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local law enforcement when needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor activity, and restricted area access in accordance with site protocols and applicable post orders. Support healthcare operations by assisting with de-escalation, directional assistance, and timely reporting of hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess 2 or more years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience. Possess an armed guard card or license. Be at least 21 years of age. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
