AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by following site-specific access control procedures, credential verification practices, and security-related policies at a logistics and distribution location. Monitor entry and exit points, check badges, visitor records, and/or delivery documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, docks, yards, and other controlled spaces. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols around entrances, gates, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by location. Document daily activity, access exceptions, and/or incident details in required reports, logs, and pass-down communications to support ongoing security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
