PM How This Role Works:

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:

In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific access control policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access at an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and reporting concerns through site protocols. Operate access control systems, maintain accurate visitor and/or contractor records, and communicate clearly with site contacts regarding entry requirements and restricted areas. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, as assigned, with attention to access points, restricted zones, and changing site conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. Customer service experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
