Job Description As a Security Officer TWIC Field Patrol Driver in La Porte, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post. You will support daily operations through strong customer service, clear communication, and teamwork while reflecting our agile, reliable, innovative culture and acting with integrity in every interaction.

PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to all individuals at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the post. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site leadership and Allied Universal management. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, operational areas, and perimeter, remaining attentive to access points, restricted zones, and potential hazards commonly found in a chemical and petrochemical location. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to buildings, controlled areas, and key infrastructure. Support emergency preparedness efforts by following site protocols, assisting with evacuations and/or accountability processes, and communicating clearly with employees, contractors, and first responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. A TSA issued TWIC is required. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
