As a Security Officer for Outdoor Mall in Manhattan Beach, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with site contacts, visitors, and local responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefronts, common areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations. Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support access control, observe customer and visitor activity, and report security-related concerns. Complete routine reports and document incidents, observations, and/or maintenance or security-related issues in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A guard card/license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
