Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in West Des Moines, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, lobby areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entry and exit points, verify access permissions as directed, and assist with visitor processing and/or employee inquiries in alignment with location procedures. Support branch and office operations by maintaining a visible presence, communicating clearly with site contacts and/or first responders, and completing required logs and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age. Have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
