Job Description As a Security Officer Screening Desk in Hutchins, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help monitor access points, screen visitors and/or deliveries, and support security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Screen employees, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and screening protocols. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed conditions to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management. Monitor entry points, shipping and receiving areas, and other designated locations for unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
