Security Officer, Nights

Job Summary As a Security Officer you are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors and staff at Warren General Hospital. Full-time, Nights Main Responsibilities

• Establish a security presence by patrolling hospital, buildings, grounds and associated areas.
• Monitor security, fire and environmental alarm systems; responds to alarms and assists as needed.
• Respond to and resolve problems, disputes and unusual circumstances as necessary.
• Provides customer service to patient, families, visitors and staff to maintain a safe environment.
• Report and document incidents, suspicious activities and hazards immediately; contacts appropriate law enforcement when necessary.
• Assists with helicopter landing, escorting crew and patient transport. Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary technical training, vocational program or related certifications preferred.
• Minimum two years of security experience; previous healthcare experience preferred.
• Willingness to obtain Basic Life Support (CPR) and Crisis Intervention Training (MANDT) Interested?
