PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities across an educational campus environment. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and help to document and report observations according to site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns. Monitor access points, observe campus visitors and/or staff activity, and help to address questions or concerns while following post orders and location guidelines. Support a professional presence throughout the location by communicating with staff, students, and visitors, and/or escalating issues when needed through proper channels.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
