As a Front Desk Security Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will welcome visitors, manage access and badges, monitor entry activity, and support daily security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a front desk location within a manufacturing and industrial setting. Monitor access at the front desk by greeting visitors, checking credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and communicating with site contacts regarding arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols. Answer phones, provide directions, and support front desk operations while observing and reporting security-related concerns within the location. Document daily activity, incident information, and/or access control issues in required logs and reports with attention to site-specific procedures.Minimum Requirements:
Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. CPR certification is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
