At a busy logistics and distribution location, our Security Officers help monitor access points and screen visitors, team members, and vehicles while conducting routine patrols and remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. Day Time Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00

AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location. Screen individuals, personal property, packages, and/or vehicles entering or exiting the location in accordance with post orders, access protocols, and inspection guidelines. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observed activity, screening results, and unusual events according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, screening areas, dock spaces, and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or shipping-related documentation, and report policy violations, restricted items, or unauthorized activity to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
