As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help monitor site access, screen visitors and/or personnel, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Screen individuals, packages, bags, and/or personal belongings in accordance with post orders and site policies, and report unusual activity, prohibited items, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency responders as needed. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, shipping zones, and/or operational spaces. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with attention to docks, trailer areas, parking locations, and other assigned areas where security-related concerns may arise.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
