PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location. Monitor entrances, screen visitors, verify credentials, and help to control the movement of staff, contractors, and authorized guests in accordance with post orders. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related activities according to site requirements. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or conditions that may require attention. Communicate with site personnel, visitors, and public agency representatives regarding access procedures, restricted areas, and/or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. A current tuberculosis test and MMR vaccinations are required in accordance with

DPSS/DHS

requirements. Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
