8:00 PM•8:00 AM Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and motivated Security Shift Lead to oversee overnight security operations in Desoto, TX. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment while providing leadership, direction, and support to on-duty security personnel. The ideal candidate is experienced, decisive under pressure, and capable of managing incidents professionally. Key Responsibilities Supervise and support security officers during assigned shifts Serve as the primary point of contact for incidents and escalations Monitor premises through patrols and surveillance systems Respond to emergencies, incidents, and alarms in a timely manner Prepare detailed incident and daily activity reports Ensure all security protocols and post orders are followed Communicate effectively with management, clients, and team members Assist with training and mentoring of security staff Requirements 1-3 years of security experience (supervisory experience preferred) Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills Ability to assess situations and make sound decisions under pressure Basic computer proficiency (report writing, email, incident systems) Flexible availability, including nights and weekends as needed Must be 21 years of age or older Valid driver's license required Preferred Qualities Professional demeanor and strong work ethic Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment High level of integrity and accountability Strong attention to detail Why Join Us Consistent overnight schedule Opportunity to grow into higher leadership roles Supportive team environment We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and value diversity at all levels of our organization.
