Job Description

Job Title Seed Tender Driver / Position Summary We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented driver to support our spring planting operations. You will be responsible for hauling to the field and efficiently operating a seed tender to reload tractors and planters. Minimizing planter downtime by maintaining an uninterrupted flow of seed is your primary objective.
Qualifications & Requirements License:
Valid Driver's License; clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B is highly preferred.
Agriculture Experience:
Previous experience on a farm, handling grain/seed, or driving agricultural straight/semi-trucks is a major asset.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to lift, pull, or carry up to 50-60 lbs. regularly, and comfortable working outdoors in varying spring weather conditions.
Mechanical Aptitude:
Basic ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues (e.g., auger belt replacements, small engine issues).
Hours:
Must be willing to work extended hours, including weekends, during peak planting season to maximize operational windows. Expect Employment to begin the week of May 25 and last for about 2 weeks.
