Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) Mechanic to join our dynamic aviation maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining aircraft components and systems to ensure safety, compliance, and optimal performance. Your expertise will help keep our fleet operating smoothly and safely, supporting the highest standards of aviation excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced technology and contribute to the safety of air travel. Duties Perform routine and non-routine inspections, repairs, and overhauls on aircraft airframes, engines, and related systems in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards Utilize schematics, CAD drawings, AutoCAD files, and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately Conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying problems affecting aircraft performance or safety Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, ammeters, ohmmeters, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for detailed inspections Fabricate or modify parts using sheet metal techniques, welding, soldering, and hand tools to meet specifications Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities within CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software Ensure compliance with all federal aviation regulations (FARs), AS9100 quality standards, and company policies during all maintenance tasks Requirements Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification is mandatory Proven mechanic experience in aviation maintenance or aerospace manufacturing environments Strong mechanical knowledge of aircraft systems including avionics, electrical wiring, power tools operation, and equipment repair Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, CAD software such as AutoCAD or CATIA for troubleshooting and fabrication purposes Experience with military-grade aircraft or heavy lifting equipment is a plus Ability to perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools accurately Knowledge of federal aviation regulations (FARs), AS9100 standards, and industry best practices for aircraft maintenance Capable of working with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, calipers, micrometers and other precision instruments Strong electrical experience including wiring diagrams and schematic interpretation Ability to lift heavy components safely while maintaining proper ergonomics during fabrication or repair tasks Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis in complex systems Effective communication skills for documenting work orders and collaborating with team members Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to aviation safety excellence!
