• Take orders from guests using a variety of systems such as POS and OpenTable.
• Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns.
• Handle guest payments and operate the POS system.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area.
• Handle food handling and follow proper sanitation procedures.
• Maintain a high level of sales and upselling skills.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service.
• Provide help to guests as needed, including answering questions and making recommendations.
• Manage multiple tables and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Keep accurate records of orders and guest requests. Qualifications
• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Proficiency in food handling and safety practices.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Experience with guest services and sales techniques.
• Basic math skills to handle cash transactions.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy trays.
