About us Sky Blue Brokering is a small business helping individuals and families with developmental disabilities in serving multiple counties in the Taconic region area of NYS. We are professional, agile, and innovative. We are looking for a Direct Support Professional to join our team and provide support to individuals with disabilities in their homes and out in the community. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assistance with activities of daily living, helping individuals develop and maintain independent living skills, providing help before or after school, assistance with home-based activities, and providing emotional support. The ideal staff is willing to work with the client out in the community and within the home. Staff will help client explore areas of interest. (i.e., music,bowling, arcades, and all things cars). Staff will need to have experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities, and be responsible and communicative. Staff must have a reliable vehicle to use during shift. Flexible hours are available up to 20 hours/week. Shifts are available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.
