  • Nutanix is looking for a Sr.
Account Manager, OEM & Alliances Sales - Americas (AMS) to join our strong and growing team. This is a high-profile client facing role will be tasked with the responsibility of partnering with the Americas theater sales teams focusing on growth leveraging our partnerships with OEMs and ISVs. This role will be responsible for driving revenue with OEM & Alliances sales teams in AMS and to execute the go-to-market strategy and enablement plan. The role holds huge opportunity to shape and accelerate Nutanix's growth in the coming years. We are looking for an entrepreneurial spirit that can build internal consensus and partner trust and is focused on execution. Ideal candidate will be a collaborative, driven sales professional with an established track record of developing strategic partnerships and generating significant scale by bringing field sales teams and partners together for mutual success. Candidate should have a working knowledge of the enterprise software and datacenter with Hyperconverged and Cloud solutions. Candidates will be expected to leverage existing business relationships where needed across Nutanix partner ecosystem to drive growth while looking for new opportunities to position Nutanix for success.
  • About the Team
  • At Nutanix, you'll be joining the Americas Alliances Sales Team, a close-knit group of six dedicated professionals located across the United States.

We prioritize integrity in all our dealings, fostering strong relationships both internally and with our partners, which is central to our success as a team. You will report to the Senior Director of Alliances Sales, who is committed to providing guidance and mentorship to help you excel in your role. The work setup is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while still maintaining strong communication and teamwork within the group. There are no mandatory office days, so you can choose the environment that helps you be most productive. However, please note that this role may require travel up to 50% of the time, as building and maintaining partner relationships are key to our success in the market.
  • Your Role
  • + Execute on an overall vision, GTM strategy, and work plan for strategic partners + Participate in identifying key areas of potential synergy between Nutanix and its partner ecosystem, including business verticals & industries or target growth markets & solutions offerings + Bring Nutanix field sales teams and OEM & Alliances sales together to drive revenue growth.
+ Initiate and maintain communication cadence across partnership, for partner and Nutanix teams to drive interlock and alignment on both strategy and tactical issues + Build strategic alignment with Nutanix Channel partners to drive go-to-market programs, solutions development, field and technical alignment + Participate or lead partner and sales enablement plan and execution including developing content and presenting as needed + Proactively facilitate resolution of any potential sales alignment issues between field and partner teams.
  • What You Will Bring
  • + 8+ years' experience in driving technology partnerships, preferably in enterprise software, virtualization, storage and/or data center spaces + Working knowledge of major industry trends in enterprise software and infrastructure including, but not limited to, Cloud, Enterprise Software, Virtualization, Converged Infrastructure, Software Defined Data Centers.
+ Proven ability to successfully build strong partner relationships while delivering consistent growth + Proven ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Engineering, Marketing and drive cross-functional initiatives from start to finish + A true self-starter who can quickly assess business requirements and become a trusted and integral part of the Nutanix team + Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time, determine project urgency, execute detailed action plans, whilst "keeping all balls in the air" + Exceptional communications & interpersonal skills; Hands-on, "can-do" attitude; with adequate humility and a sense of humor; Highest level of personal and professional ethics and integrity. + Mature and confident, with the executive presence to effectively represent the company externally and bring enhanced credibility to Nutanix.
  • Work Arrangement
Remote:
This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs. The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 260,800 and USD $ 391,200 per year. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
