Job Description:

A growing organization in the Greater Philadelphia area is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its collaborative accounting team. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on across month-end close, cost/project accounting, financial reporting, and operational accounting functions while partnering closely with leadership.

Responsibilities:

Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Support project-related accounting and cost tracking activities Partner with internal departments and leadership on financial reporting needs Assist with audit support and compliance-related requests Help identify and implement process improvements within accounting operations

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Experience within a project-based, service-based, or operational accounting environment preferred Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting ERP system experience required Advanced Excel skills Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
