reviews Full-time Kensington Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our finance team. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your extensive accounting expertise to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and effective financial management across diverse sectors including non-profit and governmental organizations. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional eager to make a meaningful impact through expert financial stewardship. Hospital Accounting experience required. Duties- Prepare, analyze, and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, account analysis, and general ledger accounting to maintain accurate financial records.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections while maintaining strong vendor relationships.
- Oversee cash management activities, including forecasting, cash flow analysis, and bank reconciliations.
- Oversee billing and collections. Qualifications
- Bachelors' or Masters' degree in accounting, finance.
- Experience in hospital accounting.
- Demonstrated expertise in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, cash management, payroll processing, and technical accounting procedures.
- Excellent analytical skills combined with strong financial acumen to interpret complex data sets effectively.
- Ability to perform detailed account analysis and prepare accurate financial reports under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with budgeting tools and forecasting methodologies to support organizational planning.
