Senior Accountant

Back To Results Senior Accountant Job Description Immediate opportunity for a Staff Accountant, CPA preferred, for a top manufacturing client in the Flowery Branch, GA Area. The client will pay a salary of $70-$75K, plus benefits and perks for this permanent, full-time position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Additions/disposals of fixed assets, and related depreciation/amortization Maintain Construction-In-Progress (CIP) for all projects Prepare and file sales tax returns and payments and keep current on rules and regulations Work with external CPA on multi-state tax issues, franchise tax, property tax Government reporting, such as annual reports, business licenses, etc. Monitor and renew insurance and bonding as necessary Monthly rebate calculations/processing Balance sheet reconciliations Assist with budgeting/forecasting Assist with annual audits Serve as a backup for Accounts Payable duties, including, but not limited to: Entering invoices Processing weekly vendor payments Processing and payment of commissions, rebates and royalties Updating the Vendor Master list in the ERP system Assist Controller with other tasks as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS

BA or BS degree required Previous heavy Excel use is required, including formulas and pivot tables Experience with sales and use tax is required Experience with fixed assets is beneficial Experience working with external auditors is a plus Experience with distribution, inventory accounting is a plus Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX or 365 is a plus Click here to apply online Share This Position Details Location flowery branch GA Date Posted 2/25/2019 Apply Processing...
