Our longtime Controller is retiring, and we need someone who can step in, learn the business quickly, and keep things running without a lot of hand-holding. Day to day you'll handle month-end close, payroll, bank reconciliation, audit prep, and accounts payable and receivable. You'll work primarily in Prophet 21 (P21) — experience with P21 or a comparable distribution ERP is a must. Comfort with Crystal Reports and basic inventory accounting is helpful. This is a small company, which means your work is visible and your ideas get heard. We're actively looking to improve our systems and processes, and we want someone who comes with opinions about how to do things better, not just someone who maintains the status quo. 5+ years of accounting experience required. Distribution or product-based company background preferred. To start, in-person is required but we anticipate moving to a hybrid model.
