Full-Time About the Opportunity A fast-growing, PE-backed multi-site healthcare organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This role supports the full scope of accounting operations — general ledger, financial reporting, month-end close, and audit support — in a dynamic environment where acquisitions and operational expansion are constant. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving setting and brings both technical depth and a process improvement mindset. Key Responsibilities + Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and analyze account balances for variances on a monthly basis + Support the monthly and year-end financial statement close process, adhering to established close schedules + Assist with accounts payable oversight and financial reporting processes across multiple entities + Ensure data integrity and compliance with GAAP and other applicable regulatory standards + Prepare and analyze financial statements, performance metrics, and management reports + Support the annual budget process, including data compilation, variance analysis, and forecasting + Participate in internal and external audit preparation, providing documentation and analysis as needed + Partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership to improve financial processes and support organizational goals + Identify and implement strategies to optimize accounting workflows, enhance internal controls, and improve operational efficiency Required Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field + Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience + Proficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Excel + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity Preferred Qualifications + Experience in a multi-site or multi-entity healthcare environment + Background in a PE-backed or high-growth organization with active M&A + Experience supporting audit processes and implementing process improvements + CPA or CPA candidate What's In It for You + Competitive salary with benefits including health, dental, vision, and 401(k) + Hybrid work arrangement in the Nashville metro area + Opportunity to grow within a scaling finance function during a period of rapid organizational expansion + High visibility with Senior leadership and direct impact on financial operations + Collaborative team environment that values professional development Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $45.67/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
