Senior Accountant

Job DescriptionJob Description LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a well?established organization in the construction industry is seeking an experienced Senior Staff Accountant to join their finance team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with strong GAAP knowledge, hands-on construction industry experience, and the ability to step in and immediately add value to daily and monthly accounting operations. Senior Staff Accountant (3-6 Month Contract) - Malvern, PA (Fully Onsite)

Pay Rate:

$40-$48/hr

Location:

Malvern, PA (100% onsite)

Duration:

3-6 months contract Key Responsibilities Maintain and update client financial records Perform detailed account reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations Support daily cash management functions Assist with the month-end close process Prepare and post general ledger transactions Track daily income and expense accruals Process vendor invoices and reconcile vendor accounts Prepare and file sales and use tax Generate financial statements, reports, and variance analyses Prepare audit schedules and documentation Monitor and maintain fixed assets Handle vendor 1099 filings Resolve compliance issues and maintain accounting accuracy Provide ad hoc reporting as needed Support annual budget planning and process improvements Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required) 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably within the construction industry Strong knowledge of GAAP, including payroll and tax filing Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Experience with construction accounting software is required Proven experience preparing financial statements, reconciliations, and audit documentation Ability to work onsite full?time and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to https://www.lhh.com/us/en/candidate-privacy The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:
