Description The Company Our client, Mauell Corporation, is looking for a highly motivated and dedicated professional to join their team as a Senior Accountant. The Position:
The Senior Accountant is responsible for the full-cycle financial operations of Mauell Corporation, including but not limited to, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), general ledger management, payroll coordination, banking/treasury functions, compliance, and monthly financial close. The role ensures timely, accurate GAAP-aligned accounting, maintains internal controls, supports project/job costing, oversees Epicor Kinetic workflows, and partners cross-functionally with Operations, Project Management, and Leadership teams.Responsibilities:
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Maintain Mauell's system of accounts and ensure integrity of postings Review, classify, and record all financial transactions Ensure GAAP compliance and maintain accounting policies Daily invoice intake, routing, bank balance checks, and deposit tracking Weekly AP payment runs (checks, ACH, wires) and AR billing cycles including milestone and shipment invoices Weekly job-costing review with Project Managers Generate milestones, shipment, and project-based invoices Monitor aging and follow up on overdue accounts Manage advance billing and deposits Manage vendor communication and review, verify, and enter vendor invoices Reconcile all balance sheet accounts Perform revenue recognition and WIP analysis Prepare financial reporting packages Coordinate payroll processing and prepare/remit sales tax filings Maintain W-9s, insurance, and compliance documents Track project material, labor, subcontractor, and overhead costs Support project managers with costing accuracy and WIP Develop SOPs and document workflows for Epicor Kinetic focused on improvements in automation and process standardization Support leadership with reporting and analysis Serve as point of contact for auditors, banks, and advisorsEducation and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in related field preferred Equivalent job-related experience will be considered Strong knowledge of GAAP Proficiency in Epicor Kinetic (AP, AR, GL, job costing) is preferred Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is requiredCompetencies:
