Senior Accounting Manager Location Irving, TX | Hybrid/Remote-US (Irving preferred)
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

ASAP ROLE IMPACT
The Senior Accounting Manager plays a critical leadership role in maintaining accurate financial reporting and supporting operational excellence across the organization. This position ensures strong internal controls, drives process improvements, and partners with leadership to deliver timely financial insights. Success in this role means consistent close cycles, reliable reporting, and scalable accounting processes that support business growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and payroll oversight
  • Lead and execute month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Prepare financial statements and management reports in compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
  • Develop, document, and maintain internal controls and accounting policies
  • Analyze financial results, variances, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Coordinate with external auditors and assist with audit and tax preparation activities
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting processes
CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
  • ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and accounting systems
  • Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, reporting)
  • Financial reporting and budgeting tools Preferred Skills
  • Experience in consumer goods, direct sales, or similar industries
  • Experience supporting a growing or evolving organization
  • Background in process improvement and system optimization initiatives
