Description Who We Are:
Opening its doors over 45 years ago, FSSI is a leading document outsourcing company servicing Fortune 500 companies in the financial, banking, insurance and billing industries across the U.S. We are currently looking for a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to manage all outgoing payments, processing invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring timely payments to vendors while maintaining positive vendor relationships.Schedule:
This role requires full-time, onsite presence, Monday through Friday, at our Santa Ana, CA location.Your Essential Duties:
Ensure thorough review of invoices and payments for accuracy and completeness. Review and update processes for proper handling and coding of invoices to maintain general ledger expense account and inventory records. Review and verify Purchase Orders and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy in coding. Reconcile accounts payable aging report to general ledger balances. Ensure purchase orders related to purchases made exclusively for Customers are submitted to billing team in a timely manner. Assist with preparing correct and timely budget reports and purchase journals. Participate in the recordkeeping of purchases for use in tax preparation and periodic audits. Ensure W9s have been collected from all vendors prior to paying vendors and to ensure accurate and timely preparation of year-end 1099s. Assist Staff Accountant team with accounting reconciliations as needed. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports and assist with month-end closing tasks. Ensure proper maintenance, filing, and storage of records to assist in audits. Perform other related duties as assigned.Requirements What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration is preferred. Five to seven years of AP experience and training. Experience managing processes. NetSuite experience is preferred.
