June 2026 Join a dynamic enrollment team dedicated to helping students take the next step in their educational journey. As a Senior Admissions Counselor , you will play a key role in recruiting, engaging, and guiding prospective students and their families through the full admissions and enrollment process. This highly visible role blends relationship-building, travel, and strategic outreach, while also providing leadership and mentorship within the admissions team. What You'll Do:
Build and manage a recruitment territory, cultivating relationships with students, families, high school counselors, and alumni Represent the university at college fairs, high school visits, and recruitment events (including travel seasons) Guide prospective students through inquiry, application, financial aid, and enrollment processes Conduct campus tours, presentations, and on-campus recruitment events Communicate with prospective students via phone, email, text, and CRM tools to drive engagement Evaluate applications and recommend admission decisions Assist students and families in understanding financial aid, scholarships, and payment options Collaborate with campus partners to create meaningful visit experiences Mentor junior staff and contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree required Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills Ability to build relationships and influence diverse audiences Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail Willingness to travel extensively and work evenings/weekends during peak seasons Valid driver's license required Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems Bilingual (Spanish) skills preferred Why Manchester University?
