In this role, you will leverage your extensive mechanical expertise and diagnostic skills to perform complex repairs and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles. Your leadership will ensure that every vehicle is serviced efficiently, accurately, and to the highest standards, providing exceptional customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot a variety of automotive issues using advanced diagnostic tools and schematics, including electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems). Perform comprehensive repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including engine repairs, diesel engine work, powertrain replacements, wheel alignments, and welding tasks. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle components with precision. Conduct vehicle inspections to identify mechanical or electrical problems and recommend appropriate solutions. Lead by example in adhering to safety protocols during all repair procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Assist junior technicians with complex diagnostics and repairs while ensuring high-quality workmanship. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Qualifications Proven dealership experience or extensive service technician background with a strong understanding of automotive repair processes. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, schematics reading, and electrical systems troubleshooting. Solid mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmissions, diesel engines, and automotive electrical systems. Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, wheel alignment equipment, welding techniques, and auto estimating software is preferred. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
