Medical Billing Specialist The successful candidate for this position will perform medical billing duties on behalf of multiple Skilled Nursing Facilities in a Corporate Office environment. Duties & Requirements Demonstrated experience in Medicare Part A and Part B billing, Medicaid billing, co-insurance billing, patient billing, and familiarity with benefit verification Knowledge of the Medicare DDE system Knowledgeable in HIPAA rules and regulations Knowledgeable in

CPT, ICD

- 10 and HCPCS coding Review claims to verify payments are made according to fee schedule and contractual adjustments Interpersonal skills, written & oral communications, Accuracy w/ attention to detail, ability to identify processing issues, codes, etc., in order to avoid delay in processing claims Multi task and meet deadlines, Strong analytical & problem solving skills, Well organized able to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines; multi-task skills, Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook , and Word Ability to pass a Criminal History Record Background Screening in accordance with the regulations set forth by the State of Mississippi for Long Term Care Facilities Ten years of medical billing experience High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred Previous experience with PointClickCare Software Five + years of billing experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities The position is located in Gulfport, MS.
