Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Clerk Typist (Part-Time) to join our administrative team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing essential clerical and administrative support to ensure smooth office operations. Your expertise in typing, data entry, and office management will help maintain accurate records, facilitate effective communication, and support daily workflows. Responsibilities Compose and type moderately difficult responses to letters or emails requesting information Record, integrate, and process data requiring knowledge of moderately difficult procedures Answers moderately difficult questions related to the clerical processing responsibility of the office Initiate telephone contacts to obtain information via telephone, email, mail, etc. Review documents for accuracy, completeness and conformity with established procedures Handle all types of correspondence, incoming calls, letters, emails and provides appropriate and timely responses Schedule and adjust workload to ensure timely completion of assignments Complete and reviews paper or electronic vouchers Prepare a variety of reports Maintain a variety of files and records Operate standard office machines and utilizes various computer programs and applications for the completion of work assignments; Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized filing systems to ensure easy retrieval of documents Manage multi-line phone systems, answer inquiries professionally, and direct calls appropriately Provide front desk support by greeting visitors, managing appointments, and handling general office inquiries Deliver excellent customer service through phone etiquette, professional communication, and timely responses Minimum Qualifications Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma and two (2) years of paid office clerical or business work experience. Additional qualifying paid work experience or any academic, technical or vocational training may be substituted for schooling on a year-for-year basis. An Associate's degree or higher may be deemed fully qualifying.
