Job Description

Senior Client Relationship Manager Star Laundry Montclair, NJ Job Details Full-time $73,038.16 - $87,959.94 a year 1 hour ago Benefits Mileage reimbursement Paid holidays Relocation assistance Health insurance Paid time off Expense account Qualifications Professional networking Driver's License Driving Hospitality industry experience Hotel experience Full Job Description About the Role We are a growing commercial laundry and linen services company serving hotels and hospitality clients across the region. We are looking for a young, motivated, and ambitious Client Relations Associate who is ready to grow with us. You do not need a background in laundry or linen services. If you are personable, professional, eager to learn, and excited about building real relationships with hospitality clients, we will teach you everything you need to know about our industry. This is not a desk job. You will split your time between our office and being out in the field, visiting hotel properties throughout the day, building daily relationships with housekeeping directors, general managers, and front-of-house teams, and being the friendly, reliable face our clients count on. What You'll Do Visit hotel clients daily across major cities to check in, say hello, and maintain strong working relationships with housekeeping directors, executive housekeepers, general managers, and operations teams. Be the first responder when issues come up. Whether it is a delivery question, a linen quality concern, a missed pickup, or a last-minute request, you will be on-site quickly to put out fires and find solutions. Walk hotel laundry rooms and back-of-house areas to spot issues before they become complaints, and stay closely connected to how our service is performing on the ground. Set up and host lunches, dinners, coffees, and drinks with hotel clients to strengthen relationships and uncover opportunities. Represent the company at hospitality industry events, hotel openings, association meetings, and networking nights. Coordinate closely with our operations, plant, and delivery teams to make sure client requests and feedback are followed through on. Keep detailed notes on every client interaction, flag risks and opportunities to leadership, and help identify ways to deepen our partnerships. Support the team with new client onboarding, site visits, and account growth initiatives. What We're Looking For Early in your career and hungry to grow. Recent graduates and candidates with 1 to 4 years of experience are encouraged to apply. A college degree is a plus but not required. Naturally outgoing and genuinely enjoy meeting people. You remember names, follow up, and make others feel valued. Comfortable walking into a hotel and introducing yourself to anyone from a front desk agent to a general manager. Calm and resourceful under pressure. When something goes wrong, you problem-solve instead of panic. Organized enough to juggle multiple client visits, follow-ups, and events in a single day without dropping the ball. Presentable and professional, but warm and approachable. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Comfortable being on the road throughout the day. Flexible availability for occasional early mornings, evening client dinners, industry events, and the rare weekend when needed. Eager to learn the laundry, linen, and hospitality industries from the inside out. Nice to Have (Not Required) Any experience in hospitality, hotels, food and beverage, events, customer service, or B2B sales. Existing relationships in the hotel industry. A second language commonly spoken in hospitality operations. What We Offer Competitive base salary plus performance-based incentives. Health Insurance Offered Paid time off and holidays. Generous expense account for client meals, entertainment, and events. Mileage reimbursement or company vehicle program. Hands-on training in the hospitality and commercial laundry industry from experienced leaders. A clear runway to grow into senior client relations, account management, or business development roles as the company expands. A supportive team that genuinely enjoys what they do and will invest in your development.
