• 11:30 PM Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Senior CNC Lathe Machinist to support and lead evening shift operations.

This role requires advanced CNC lathe setup expertise, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to guide and support a team of machinists. The Senior Machinist will play a key role in training new hires, completing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs), and leading daily problem-solving discussions to drive quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 30 lbs Ability to work in a machine shop environment (noise, oil, metal chips, etc.) The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader who can perform complex setups independently while mentoring others and supporting production goals. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform complex CNC lathe setups , including tooling selection, fixture setup, offsets, and program verification Set up and adjust live tooling and multi-axis lathe operations Review, edit, and troubleshoot CNC programs to resolve tooling, dimensional, or process issues Assist machinists with diagnosing and correcting machining errors related to programs, tooling, or setup Complete and review First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) in accordance with quality requirements Train, mentor, and support new hires and less-experienced machinists Lead daily problem-solving meetings with a team of 5-6 machinists to address safety, quality, and production issues Serve as a technical resource for the evening shift and communicate issues to supervision as needed Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and production standards Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of CNC lathe machining experience in a manufacturing environment Proven ability to perform complex CNC lathe setups independently Strong experience with live tooling and multi-axis lathe operations Demonstrated experience completing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) Strong understanding of blueprints, GD&T, and precision measurement Experience troubleshooting CNC programs and tooling issues Ability to train and mentor machinists Strong communication and leadership skills

Pay:
