You will leverage your expertise in CNC programming and complex machine setups to optimize workflows and ensure the highest quality standards for our custom component projects. Responsibilities Execute advanced CNC milling operations, including programming, machine setup, and tool path optimization to maximize production efficiency. Provide technical leadership by assisting operators with complex setups, tooling selection, and troubleshooting to maintain consistent output. Interpret intricate blueprints and GD&T specifications to ensure all parts meet rigorous dimensional accuracy and tolerance requirements. Drive continuous improvement by analyzing machining sequences and adjusting feeds and speeds to enhance cycle times. Conduct thorough first-article and in-process inspections using precision metrology tools such as micrometers and calipers. Collaborate with shop leadership to manage production scheduling and maintain a highly organized, professional floor environment. Qualifications Required Skills Extensive experience in CNC programming, setup, and machine changeover. Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex machining issues in a high-precision environment. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and GD&T. Strong hands-on experience with 3-4 axis Vertical Machining Centers (VMC). Preferred Skills Advanced knowledge of CAD/CAM software, specifically Autodesk Fusion 360. Direct experience operating multi-axis CNC machinery. Background in large-scale horizontal boring mill operations. Demonstrated ability to mentor junior machinists and improve shop floor processes.
