Senior Corporate Accountant

Job DescriptionOur client is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join its finance team in Hopkinton. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional with a strong background in corporate accounting, public company reporting, and the month-end close process. The Senior Corporate Accountant will play a key role in supporting the general ledger, preparing financial statements, assisting with SEC and quarterly reporting, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards. Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis. Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules.

Assist with quarterly reporting requirements for a publicly traded company, including footnote support and disclosure preparation.

Maintain and improve general ledger accuracy and account reconciliation processes.

Partner with internal and external auditors during quarterly and annual audits.

Support compliance with SOX controls and corporate accounting policies.

Analyze complex accounting issues and provide recommendations to leadership.

Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, tax, and operational teams to support reporting and business initiatives.
