Job Description

  • This role is based at one of our corporate offices in Memphis, TN or McLean, VA
  • Exceptional Hospitality Starts with You This is your chance to be part of an in-house Brand Performance Support (BPS) team that delivers responsive support to Hotel Leaders across over 9,000 hotels through close collaboration with many parts of the business!
As a Senior Director, BPS Category Support reporting to the Vice President of BPS, you will work with the Global Brands and Commercial Services Organization and multiple Hilton Partners to provide resources that support hotel leaders for new openings, conversion ramp-up, performance delivery, and service optimization. What you'll do during a typical day: Focus on serving the Category Leader's needs to ensure the hotel support needs are met. Work as a collaborative and trusted partner to manage the needs and expectations of the Category Leader in concert with the BPS resources available to accomplish the support. Partner with other BPS Senior Directors to ensure the "BPS central support" components are used and maximized (ie, Targeted Coaching Emails, Boost Action Plans). Understand the objectives of the Category and its Brands to ensure the Category Support teams are deployed in the most impactful manner that drive the highest results. Lead a team of Directors, Senior Managers, and Managers to deliver customized support for hotels within the Category and its Brands. Represent BPS across the enterprise in multiple projects, work groups, and initiatives related to the Category and its Brands. Provide overall hotel support status, gain consensus on hotel support deployment and "opportunity" hotel prioritization. Oversee the facilitation and coordination of hotel consultation efforts within the Category, assess the quality and consultation recaps, and the necessary follow-up on agreed upon action steps to be taken by the hotels. Be the voice and advocate of Hilton with "supported" hotels to ensure brand compliance and representation. Craft and deliver impactful communications, including presentations, to internal and external audiences and senior-level partners. Ensure all Category/Brand hotel support activities are documented in Salesforce. How you'll collaborate with others: Participate in monthly Brand Compliance Committee Meetings, Monthly Commercial Focus Meetings, and other meetings/events involving the Category where BPS representation is needed/requested. What It Takes to Make the Stay You have these minimum qualifications: Seven (7) years of related professional experience Five (5) years of Hotel and/or Hospitality Management experience Three (3) years of people management experience Firm understanding of franchisee and franchisor relationships, and owner or management company relationships. Travel up to 35% of the time It would be useful if you have: BA/BS Bachelor's Degree Three (3) years of experience working with Hilton Brands Focused Service Brand Experience Demonstrated proficiency with Salesforce and Tableau Knowledge of the hotel development process including financing, construction, design, and operations How We'll Help You Thrive At Hilton, the hospitality we're known for doesn't end with our guests.
