Job Purpose This position will report to the Hoffman Estates office, but covers the Cleveland, Ohio district territory. Candidates will need to relocate and/or reside within the assigned territory. The District Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales and profitability in their designated zone by leading and partnering with dealers. This position requires a self-starter who is passionate about building relationships and achieving results with strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a competitive environment. Key Accountabilities Achieve wholesale, retail sales and market penetration objectives, as well as other divisional goals Conduct in-dealership sales training; improve customer and sales satisfaction levels in assigned areas Assist dealers with floor planning, promotions, merchandising, advertising, and other sales consultant responsibilities Build, maintain, and develop dealership accounts and contracts Review and analyze dealerships financial performance Assist dealers in improving sales processes to grow market share and profitability Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Bachelor's degree or equivalent work-related experience 2-5 years of experience in wholesale automotive sales/retail auto sales, as well as a demonstrated history of achieving and exceeding sales objectives Marketing, advertising, and merchandising experience is a significant plus.2-5 years of experience in wholesale automotive sales/retail auto sales, as well as a demonstrated history of achieving and exceeding sales objectives Experience in report writing and large group presentations is essential •This role is required to travel 50% or more of the time• What differentiates Honda and makes us an employer of choice?
