• What You Will Do
• + Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team, providing technical direction, mentorship, and career development + Drive the architecture, design, and delivery of safety-critical avionics software aligned to civil certification standards (DO-178) + Own execution across scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring successful delivery of complex engineering programs + Champion engineering excellence by implementing best practices across development, verification, and certification processes + Partner cross-functionally with program leadership, systems, and customers to align technical solutions with business and mission objectives + Guide and support bid and proposal efforts, shaping technical strategy and estimating scope for new business opportunities + Build and maintain a strong team through strategic hiring, workforce planning, and talent development + Identify risks early and drive proactive solutions to ensure program success and continuous improvement + Willing and Able to travel as required (domestic and international
