We are seeking a Senior Event Coordinator / Event Team Lead to join our team—an experienced professional who brings both strategic oversight and hands-on expertise to every event. This is an opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment and is ready to take on a leadership role that directly impacts both client experience and team performance. This position reports directly to the Director of Catering. The Opportunity In this role, you will serve as a senior leader within the Event Coordination team, trusted to manage complex, high-visibility events while elevating the performance and consistency of the team as a whole. You'll be a key partner to clients, sales, culinary, and operations—ensuring every detail is executed to the highest standard. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and elevate the Event Coordination team, setting standards for excellence and consistency Oversee high-profile corporate and social events from concept through execution with full ownership Act as a senior point of contact for key clients, providing polished, proactive, and solutions-driven service Partner closely with Sales Managers to translate client vision into seamless, executable event plans Review and approve all event logistics, including kitchen orders, rentals, timelines, and beverage programming Develop and direct detailed production plans, floor plans, and timelines to ensure flawless execution Provide creative leadership in event design, presentation, and guest experience Ensure clear, accurate, and timely communication across all departments Anticipate challenges and adapt quickly, maintaining composure and professionalism under pressure Support hiring, onboarding, and development of Event Coordinators Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and elevate the client experience What You Bring 3-5+ years of high-level hospitality experience, ideally within catering or complex event planning environments Demonstrated success managing full-service, high-touch corporate and social events Proven leadership ability, with experience mentoring or guiding team members Exceptional organizational and operational instincts, with a sharp attention to detail Strong executive presence and communication skills, both client-facing and internal A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities seamlessly Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-performance environment Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Gmail, and Google Docs Why This Role This is more than a coordination role—it's a leadership opportunity with visibility, ownership, and impact.
