Highway Engineer 📍
Locations :
Portsmouth/Concord, NHActon, MAGlastonbury, CTMy client is seeking a Senior Highway Engineer at a 100% employee-owned firm that values innovation, collaboration, and professional growth. They are seeking an experienced Highway Project Engineer to join our growing Transportation Division.
Overview:
Lead the development of transportation project plans for public infrastructure.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality design solutions.

Manage and mentor junior staff while serving as a task lead.

Assemble complete design packages or portions of larger projects.

Conduct quality control reviews and ensure compliance with standards.

Represent the firm at client meetings and industry events.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

PE license required.5-10 years of progressive roadway engineering experience.

Experience with MassDOT or other New England DOTs required; municipal experience a plus.

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley OpenRoads Designer.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Experience with proposal writing, budgeting, and public presentations preferred.

Multi-modal and Complete Streets design experience a plus.
