Senior Human Resources Generalist Hahnville, LA $60,000 - $75,000 per year + 5% Bonus Target Full-Time | Exempt Galata Chemicals is looking for an experienced Senior Human Resources Generalist to support our Taft manufacturing facility and corporate operations. This role supports both hourly and salaried associates and serves as a key partner to plant leadership across employee relations, payroll administration, recruiting, compliance, onboarding, and HR operations. Responsibilities Support daily HR operations for approximately 118 associates Conduct employee investigations and support corrective actions and terminations Administer payroll and timekeeping through ADP Workforce Now Coordinate recruiting, onboarding, and orientation activities Support leave administration, benefits, workers' compensation, and compliance activities Maintain personnel records and HR documentation Assist with employee engagement and culture initiatives Partner with plant leadership on HR-related matters Support HR reporting, audits, and process improvements Qualifications 8+ years of HR experience required Manufacturing or chemical industry experience preferred Experience supporting both hourly and salaried employees Strong employee relations experience required Payroll/timekeeping administration experience required Associate degree preferred ADP Workforce Now experience preferred Strong organizational and communication skills required Work Environment Hybrid office and manufacturing plant environment PPE required in designated production areas Occasional travel up to 20% Rare after-hours support as needed Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) Paid Time Off Life Insurance Bonus Opportunity Galata Chemicals is an Equal Opportunity Employer Committed to cultivating a diverse workforce that reflects the communities we serve
