The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. The HVAC Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring optimal indoor climate control and energy efficiency for our clients. Duties Install new HVAC systems and components according to manufacturer specifications and local codes. Perform routine maintenance on heating and cooling systems to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, including refrigerant leaks, electrical issues, and mechanical failures. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and soldering/ brazing for repairs and installations. Conduct field service visits to assess system performance and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades. Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and customer interactions. Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC-related issues in a timely manner. Educate clients on proper system usage and maintenance practices. Skills Proficient in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair techniques. Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in appliance repair. Ability to effectively use diagnostic tools such as volt/ohmmeters. Experience with refrigerant handling and recovery procedures. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments.
