For more information, visit: www.gpinet.com What you'll be doing: Lead the design and development of HVAC and mechanical systems for commercial, institutional, healthcare, and public-sector projects Perform and oversee load calculations, system sizing, equipment selection, and energy analysis Prepare and review drawings, specifications, and construction documents Manage projects from concept through construction, including scope, schedule, and budget control Coordinate with architectural clients, structural, electrical, and plumbing teams to ensure integrated design solutions Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients and support business development efforts Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and designers Support construction phase services, including submittal reviews, RFIs, and field coordination What you'll bring: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred (or ability to obtain) 815+ years of experience in HVAC/mechanical systems design Demonstrated experience in project management and client interaction Strong knowledge of ASHRAE guidelines, NYS Building Code, and energy codes Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit (BIM) design platforms Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
