Part-Time/Bi-Vocational (possible Full-Time) About Us Bethpage Christian Church is a Bible-believing, community-focused congregation with a rich history of over 75 years serving the Lord in Mineral, Virginia. We are a close-knit, multigenerational church family (approx. 60 members) that loves to worship together. We are seeking a shepherd to lead us into our next chapter and foster new growth. Our Need We are searching for a pastor with a shepherd s heart who feels called to rural ministry. We need someone who is comfortable working collaboratively with lay leaders, passionate about biblical preaching, outreach-minded and actively involved in our local community.

Primary Responsibilities Preaching & Teaching:

Prepare and deliver sound, biblical sermons in weekly Sunday services.

Pastoral Care:

Provide compassionate care, visitation (hospital/homebound), and counseling to church members.

Leadership:

Work with our deacons/pastor s council to develop a vision for growth, outreach, and evangelism.

Community Engagement:

Represent the church in the community and build relationships with our neighbors.

Administration:

Manage church operations, including planning and supporting volunteer-led ministries. Qualifications Ordained or licensed to preach in a nondenominational environment. A heart for rural ministry and a passion for building long-term relationships. A teachable spirit and the ability to work collaboratively with a lay leadership team. Relevant education (seminary preferred) or equivalent practical ministry experience. What We Offer Weekly pay, housing and gas allowance (based on experience and conditions).
