Job Description

Senior Payroll Administrator Brighton, CO (100% Onsite) $80,000 - $90,000 + Comprehensive Benefits & 401(k) Match Our client is seeking a Senior Payroll Administrator to join their team in Brighton, CO. This is a highly visible role supporting payroll operations for approximately 1,300 employees across multiple companies and payroll cycles. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoys being both technically strong and employee-facing. The company is looking for a payroll professional who can confidently manage complex payroll processing while also serving as a resource for employee questions, issue resolution, and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities of Senior Payroll Administrator:
Process multi-state payroll for approximately 1,300 employees across multiple entities and payroll cycles Manage payroll activities including commissions, bonuses, incentive compensation, and other complex earnings structures Ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and timely processing in a high-volume environment Serve as the primary point of contact for employee payroll-related questions and issue resolution Partner closely with Payroll leadership and HR to maintain payroll integrity and improve processes Assist with payroll reporting, reconciliations, and ongoing process improvement initiatives Support both union and non-union payroll environments Qualifications for
Senior Payroll Administrator:
Strong recent payroll processing experience in a high-volume environment Experience with multi-state payroll processing Hands-on experience with strongly preferred Experience processing commissions, bonuses, and incentive compensation Strong communication and employee-facing customer service skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment Union payroll exposure is a plus, but not required
